Vmware ESXi - LIVES MATTER
Now why would I be writing about this, I am definitely not getting paid to do so. Why chose to write on a
technology that was created 19 years ago. Well my fellow citizens of the world this is because 20 years
down the road after its creation who knew this creation is what’s going to save an entire business from
collapse.
Let me just describe what this technology can do. Say you have a normal Desktop with normal compute
capabilities . And what you would like to do is run another operating system inside your current running OS
well you have Oracle virtual VM box, VM workstation etc. that is up for the task. And just like that you have
two OS running side by side, each sharing memory, CPU resources in general not interfering in each other’s
affairs both absolutely different environment yet same resources.
Now amplify this solution to a much greater level, 10 to 20 times greater - Say 1000 Desktops coexisting
under a single physical entity . This means 20 years later when a pandemic strikes and everyone is in
lockdown you have virtual desktops available that can be accessible via a network link thereby saving your
Business as usual And what would you call such a solution VMware ESXi introduced way back in 2001
saved countless jobs and business with a simple solution stemmed from the fact that differences need to
CO-exist irrespective of their beliefs, color or creed.
The founders of Vmware ESXi have taught us all a Lesson for Life that without Coexistence you are doomed
to failure. If not now somewhere along the line
So you see this write-up was never about VMware ESXi infact it was about the social cause it stands for, call
me crappy writer for writing something as boring, But hey at least I tried to get into that sorry mind of
yours.!!!!!
